Learn how to become an expert in Italian pasta in our pasta making class.
Everybody loves a hearty bowl of pasta after a chilly ski down the Verbier pistes, and this is also a great way to unite your family or friends after your days skiing down the mountain – Italian style.
First you will be shown a demonstration of how to make the pasta, then you will test your own culinary skills and have a go yourself. You will learn how to make pasta from scratch, from weighing out the ingredients through to rolling, and cutting your pasta into the correct shapes, through to making a delicious filing for your ravioli.
You will also be taken through an overview of which pasta to use for which occasion, with which sauce, and will be given an overview on which area in Italy each various types of pasta come from.
The session is great fun, and at the end you will be able to sit down together and eat a delicious Italian pasta dish alongside a glass of Italian wine. It is always more fun if you go with friends so grab a group and join this class together.
In this pasta making class you will cover:
- Pasta dough
- Lasagna sheets
- Tagliatelle
- Ravioli pockets
- Ravioli fillings
- Gnocchi (although this isn’t actually pasta).
This is a four hour session and includes lunch.
Boring but important:
- Available all year, although is dependant on numbers
- For the session to go ahead, we must have a minimum of 8 people
- 50% cancellation fee up to one week before event, 100% thereafter
